Sousa: The match turned after they scored from their first chance

Paulo Sousa spoke to the gathered media after Saturday's 0-2 defeat at home to KTE

Paulo Sousa: – It has been easy to be satisfied so far after our home games, as we generally won. This has not been the case with our matches away from home. I am looking for my players to develop, and I have been motivating them to think positively. We have nothing more to say after today's game, then to congratulate our opponents, who played very well and scored from their chances. We also had our own chances, but were not able to convert them. We are focusing on building a team at the moment, as well as building a club, with Debrecen being a complete club. They have achieved serious results recently, and we have to have similar targets. I hope that we can catch them up shortly, but at the moment the club and builing this team are the most important.

Tomiszlav Szivics: – I have received planty of text messages congratulating us. I thought that we did not have a chance of scoring many goals before the match, which is what I said before the game, but I did not complete the finish. We scored two goals from set pieces without playing with a striker, and then we had Savic, who usually only scores once a year, so I thank him! Despite all this, we really did play well, with lots of self confidence, and we knew what we wanted throughout the game. Our possession of the ball was perfect, and we did not make mistakes, and waited with patience for the chances. I feel that my team need to be congratulated, and I am very proud of them.
