Videoton picked up a draw at the home of Haladas on Sunday evening. In the final game of the weekend fixtures, the match was played out on a difficult pitch, which had slightly improved over the week, but the very cold conditions did not help either side. The Fehervar side took to the pitch in an all red kit against a Haladas side, which has been impressive over the autumn season.

It was the Szombathely side that started the game better. An Adam Simon strike after 5 minutes came back off the right post. The home side continued to look dangerous from their corner kicks and free kicks, but they found Vidi keeper Calatayud in good form between the posts. Sandor then played Nikolics in after 15 minutes, but the assistant referee flagged for offside. The 22nd minute saw Gabor Nagy shoot low, which produced a fantastic low safe from the giant Spaniard. Calatayud did very well to get down low and palm the ball away for a corner.

Ugrai took a free kick on the half hour from about 25 meters out, which was parried by Calatayud before being cleared. Haladas defender Schimmer was then forced to come off with an injury, with his replacement, Rajos lasting just 40 seconds before pulling back Nildo in front of goal. Referee Kassai pointed at the spot, while also sending off Rajos, which saw the home side down to ten men. Nemanja Nikolics kept his cool to calmly find the back of the net to put Vidi a goal ahead (0-1). The goal seemed to unsettle the Szombathely side, who then picked up several yellow cards in the minutes leading up to half time.

The home side placed the emphasis on defending in the second half, with Vidi seeing more of the possession as a result. However, the visitors were unable to create any clear cut chances on goal. Haladas were level on the hour after Bosnjak showed a burst of pace on the left, before cutting the ball back for Ugrai to make no mistake from close range and find the back of the net (1-1). Oliveira came on shortly after the home sides goal. He received a fine pass from Sandor, with the Portuguese midfielder hitting his shot beyond the far post.

Haladas almost took the lead after 70 minutes. Halmosi's cross was headed towards his own goal by Vinicius, which forced Calatayud to produce a reflex save with his feet. Things became harder for Haladas with ten minutes left. Iszlai brought down Stopira, which produced the second red card of the evening from Kassai. Vidi pushed forward for the final ten minutes against nine man Haladas, but they could not create any chances on Rosza' goal. The final whistle blew with both sides picking up a point from the match.
