The defender opened the scoring on Saturday, just a day after becoming a Hungarian citizen.
"It was a very hard match today, even if DVTK are currently battling to avoid relegation. They did not go out onto the pitch with their hands up and played tough. We picked up an important win at home. I am happy that I scored my first goal as a Hungarian. It is always a good feeling to score, but now even more so. I want to give back some of the love that I continuously get from the supporters. This goal was more than special for me and just like a dream. Naturally I am delighted to have been called up to the national squad. My job now is to work very hard so that I can be worthy of wearing the Hungarian shirt" - commented Paulo Vinicius.
