The forward scored the equaliser in Vidi's 2-1 win over Debrecen on Saturday.
"We managed to control the game over the majority of the 90 minutes. We could have taken the lead in the first 15 minutes but we could not convert the chances into goals. DVSC then went ahead at the beginning of the second half, but we did not think even then that we would not be able to keep the 3 points at home. It was a very hard game on the pitch but we played well and deserved to win. I am pleased that I scored again. I played in a more deeper role than usual and tried to work within open areas. This is why I was not up there in front of the opponents goal as usual. I have scored many goals from 18-20 meters during my career so scoring from outside the area is not unusual. However, I am not known for my long range goals at Vidi. It was an important 3 points against very strong opponents. We have no time to sit back and celebrate as we have a cup game on Wednesday. I am sure that they will do all they can to try and turn the tie around. Our aim is simple: we want to battle through to the next round" - commented Marko Scepovic.
