Gyorgy Mezey looks ahead to the game with Debrecen

Vidi face Debrecen in the Monicomp league on Friday evening.

Gyorgy Mezey: We are different tasks during the last two weeks. The games against MTK, Ferencvaros and Honved provide seperate challenges from a coaching point of view. The preparation for these games also vary, as does the game itself. Debrecen are our next opponents,  and they play in a completely different style. We have really had to prepare mentally for Friday's match, and the players are prepared! We managed to get over the recent important games successfully. The last of these big games is tonight, and we will have to win that as well! My aim was to keep the players at the same physical and mental state over the last three weeks. That is why I made several substitutions in the cup match at Haladas. I wanted all of the players to reach the required tempo. It was also important to rest some of the players. Debrecen are sure to be up for today's game, and tonight's game is their last chance to catch up with the leading pack. I am sure that they will use their maximum energy to get the most out of the game. Debrecen have managed a lot over the last five years, and it will be hard for them to renew. We have another "advantage" this season: Some of our injured players are due to be back in contention for selection towards the end of the season. That will mean that we will have some fresh players available then.
