The thoughts of the two managers

Gyorgy Mezey gave his views on Sunday's game

Gyorgy Mezey: "It was a high tension atmosphere inside the ground, and rightly so. We scored two nice goals at the start of the match, and we could have gone on to determine the outcome of the league. This seemed realistic after the way we began the match. We then conceded two avoidable goals, giving away silly free kicks, which saw them draw level from one of them. Honved were disciplined without playing too much football. I am not in an easy situation recently. I have had to sort the rather laid back dressing room out a little lately. This could be seen in the way Andre Alves casually failed to score, what would have been our third goal. Each day seems to bring with it, another new name, with regard to who will take my position on the bench. Today's match was a bitter lesson to both the players and myself. We will need to learn from these errors, but we should not have too many problems. Wednesday could see us finally bring everything to a conclusion."

Attila Supka: "Everything in the newspapers and on the TV, during the week was about Videoton being very close to winning the league title. They also mentioned that our side would only be a barrier in the cause. This helped my a lot in the mental preparation of my players. They went into this game wanting to win it. The two quickly conceded goals played a part in it all, and they were both avoidable from our point of view. I would even add that had we concentrated a little bit better, than we could have caused a surprise in the second half. I thought we got the most out of what was in the match."
