Match Report: Debut double in Kisvárda!

This is how to debut in a Vidi shirt! Gradisar and Stefanelli scored the two goals to win in Kisvárda!

Our team played in the 19th round of the OTP Bank League in Kisvárda on Wednesday night. This time Bartosz Grzelak went for Tóth B. - Serafimov, Spandler, Gergényi - Bese, Christensen, Sigér, Katona, Schön - Kastrati, Gradisar, and the third new signing Nicolas Stefanelli received his playing permit from Florida, which saw the Argentine striker start the game on the bench.

In the 10th minute a big chance was missed! From the right wing came a cross from Bese, which Gradisar headed towards goal from 8 meters, Petkovic saved with a reflex reaction, the rebound fell to Katona, but the ball was blocked by a defender. Seven minutes later Katona's shot was saved by Petkovic. A minute later Gradisar's header was cleared off the goal line. At the end of the first half, Jovicic headed wide for the home side and Navratil found the net, but he had already been flagged offside.

The teams came back into the second half without substitutions and Széles' header was confidently saved by Balázs Tóth. In the 54th minute, Kastrati was replaced by Stefanelli and a minute later, Bese's cross was headed into the net by debutant Gradisar (0-1). That's how you make your debut in a Vidi shirt! Bese did really well to corss to the far post. The other "newcomer" Stefanelli could have scored on his debut, but Petkovic, the home goalkeeper, was alert, and Tóth Tamás Vid came on for Gradisar in the 64th minute.

The other "newcomer" Stefanelli also came close to scoring, but Petkovic, the home goalkeeper, was alert, and then Tamás Tóth Vid came on for Gradisar in the 64th minute. In the 79th minute Bartosz Grzelak made two more changes - Sigér and Katona were replaced by Csongvai and Larsen. And two minutes later, the match was decided! Bese's second goal pass was superbly curled into the far post by Stefanelli (0-2)! What a start! In the 85th minute, Larsen's header from a Kisvárda free-kick foundthe back off the Vidi net (1-2), but we deserved the three points - even though Tamás Tóth came very close to a third Vidi goal in the final minutes. We didn't see any more big chances in Kisvárda, Vidi got 3 points in the 19th round! On Saturday we head to Hungária körút and MTK away!
