The former club icon has signed on a three year contract
Balazs Tóth was born in Ozd back on the 24th September 1981. He made is was through the youth ranks of his local side, before finding himself at Videoton at the age of 18. Balazs made his full debut a few days after his 19th birthday, in a league match between Vidi and Vasas, on the 20th September 2000. Videoton emerged 1-0 winners thanks to goal from Gyurovath. He went on to make a total of 115 first division appearances, scoring 15 goals in that period. He made his last appear.ance for Vidi on the 27th November 2004. Toth went to Turkish side Malatyaspor and then Kayseri Erciyesspor, where he played 58 matches for both, during 2005-2007.
His next stop was in Belgium where he joined KRC Genk in 2007. His impressive performances there saw him play 70 times for them, scoring 8 goals. He spent last year on loan at Dutch side Venlo. He broke his existing contract in the summer with the Belgium side, and chose to come back to Hungary to play for Videoton. Toth has signed a deal for three seasons, and will wear the 26 shirt. He has also played 34 times for Hungary, with his last appearance being in the 2-1 defeat at Wembley to England back in the summer of 2010.
