The action switches to the OTP league on Sunday with Videoton on the road at Mezokovesd.
The excitement of Thursday's second leg win over Bordeaux was followed on Friday with the draw in Nyon. Now the action switches to the OTP league and match 4 of the season. Vidi make the journey east to Mezokovesd for a game that kicks off at 20:00pm.
Sunday's opponents were first promoted to the first division in 2013. They were relegated in 2016 to the second division. However, that did not last too long and they made the return in the summer. Vidi have met Mezokovesd five times, which have included two wins, two draws and a defeat in matches played between the two. Videoton have yet to pick up maximum points away at Mezokovesd.
Sunday's opponents have made a good start and go into the evening game sitting in third place. They had led the division after two games after beating Debrecen 2-1 and coming from 2-0 down at Paks to win 3-2 thanks to goals from Veszelinovics, Baracskai and Strestík. They then suffered a heavy defeat away at Ferencvaros last week with a 5-0 loss at the Groupama Arena.
They lost Lazar Veszelinovics last week together with Csanad Novak. The latter has needed an operation and will not be available to manager Miklos Radvanyi. His squad is valued at the 5 million euros mark according to transfermarkt.de and there was plenty of movement over the summer with the playing squad. Season 2016/17 saw regular players leave the club in the form of Bacelic-Grgic, Pauljevics, Vági, Sós, Kink, Dinjar, Molnár G., Diallo, Balogh B., Orosz and Egerszegi. They were replaced by Csirmaz István, Paul Keita, Cseri Tamás, Pillár Róbert, Koszta Márk, Jakub Brasen, Szalai Attila and Vadnai Dániel.
Former Vidi players that are in their squad are Tomas Tujvel, Pal Lazar and Roland Baracskai.
