Vidi meet a Debrecen side that have 8 points from their 6 league matches

Debrecen ended the 2015-2016 season in third place, which meant the Europa League for them during the summer. They managed two rounds beating La Fiorita 7-0 on aggregate. However, Torpedo Zsodino proved too difficult as they lost both legs. 

The league season started with a home draw with Paks. They then lost 3-1 away at Vasas in the following game. Elemer Kondas resigned after that game and Andras Herczeg replaced him for a couple of games. Debrecen beat Gyirmot 4-0 and Mezokovesd were also defeated by a single goal. They most recently lost 1-0 at home to Haladas. Debrecen currently sit in sixth place with their eight points.

Videoton met Debrecen three times last season and won all three. The first game took place in Szekesfehervar in August and Vidi won that match 1-0. A very good 2-1 away win at the home of Debrecen was next in April, before the two met again in Felcsut, with Vidi again winning 1-0.
