Aurel Csertoi's side sit in third place in the league table after 11 games, having lost just once so far this season.
MVM Paks ended the 2013-14 season in 11th place, so probably nobody would have thought that they would be sitting in third place this season after 11 matches.
Aurel Csertoi's side have made a fantastic start to the year, winning their first three games and losing the 10th match of the season for the first time. They have beaten Debrecen, Győri ETO and DVTK among others. They won their most recent game against DVTK a couple of days ago, despite trailing 1-0 until the 85th minute. Paks turned the game around scoring three late goals. Their goal difference is 20-8, which is the second best in the first division.
Topscorers are Norbert Konyves and Laszlo Bartha, who have both scored 5 goals each.
They are in Group F in the League cup and sit in second spot after four matches. However, they suffered a shock exit in the Hungarian cup, losing 2-1 to Felsotarkany.
Another interesting feature of the match is that Tibor Heffler started the season with Paks, while Zsolt Haraszti was a Vidi player. The two have switched sides since.
The match was originally due to be played in Paks, but the bad weather made their pitch unplayable, which is why the match has been switched to the Sostoi stadium with a 20:00pm kick off.
