Marko Nikolic takes his side to Budapest at the weekend in search of three points.
Match 14 of the OTP league season takes place on Saturday 28th October with a 15:30pm kick off. Vidi will travel to Budapest to take on Ujpest. Videoton have already played the lilacs once this season, which finished in a 2-2 draw in Felcsut. Goals that day from Scepovic and Hadzic earned Vidi a point.
The Budapest side kept their unbeaten run for a fairly long time at the start of the season. The first three games ended in draws while the fourth saw them beat Vasas to go into 7th in the table. The run came to an end with a 2-1 loss to Honved and there were inconsistant results that followed. Those included draws with DVTK 1-1, a win over Balmazujvaros 1-0, defeats to Puskas Academy 1-3 and Haladas 0-1. The results continued with a 4-2 win over Mezokovesd and a 1-1 draw with DVCS. The game with Paks ended in a 0-0 draw while the most recent game saw them lose the big derby 1-0 away at Ferencvaros. That means that Nebojsa Vignjevics' side have not won in their last 3 league games. The 15 points picked up sees them currently sit 9th in the OTP league table but just 4 points from 4th in the table Vasas.
Top goalscorer is Soma Novothn with 5 goals while Daniel Nagy, who was recently called up to the Hungarian squad has found the back of the net 4 times.
There have been slight changes to the Ujpest squad since they last faced Vidi in July. Kylian Hazard, Souleymane Diarra and Zoltan Gere have left, while arrivals include Bence Gundel-Takacs, Anton Saltros and Remzifaik Selmani.
