Videoton pick up several awards

The Hungarian FA held their awards ceremony at the Telki HQ

The Gusztav Sebes award, in recognition of the best manager in Hungary, went to Videoton manager Gyorgy Mezey. It is a fine achievement after he only took over the running of the first team last July. Both Videoton FC and their reserve side, which plays in the western section of division two, picked up the fair play award, which was as a result of their good disciplinary record on the pitch.

The clubs Managing Director, Sandor Berzi, who represented Videoton at the awards in Telki, said the following: "Videoton ended in mid-table in last seasons fair play league. This big step ahead also mirrors the clubs determination and policy, to not only be successful, but also lead in the area of fair play."
