Videoton come from a goal down to beat Haladas 3-1

Videoton picked up three more points to remain unbeaten with a five points gap at the top.

Haladas were the visitors to the Pancho Arena in week 8 of the OTP league season. The Szombathely side arrived sitting in 10th place in the table. Director of Football Zoltan Kovacs presented Asmir Suljic with a shirt after the winger played his 100th NBI game.

The first big chance of the game went to Haladas following a cross from the right, which Williams slid in but failed to connect with. The same player then tried his luck from 40 meters moments later. The ball went over Kovacsik and landed on the roof of the net. Anel Hadzic shot powerfully on 13 minutes, which produced a very good save from Kiraly in the visiting goal. The rebound fell to Lazovic who found the back of the net from close range, but the linesman flagged for offside.

Hadzic tested Kiraly again after 19 minutes and again the veteran keeper pulled off a good stop. Ramos played himself clear after 27 minutes and aimed for the near corner from inside the box, but Juhasz slid in to deny him and clear the danger. Stopira then saw his low shot go wide of the left post seconds later as the action continued. However, it was the visitors that went ahead after 35 minutes: Mario Nemeth who had only just come on as a substitute hit a low shot that went in off the post. Keeper Adam Kovacsik had no chance and Haladas went one up (0-1).

Things could have gone from bad to worse when Fejes fouled Williams inside the box and the referee pointed at the spot. Ramos sent a low shot the wrong side of the post and the score remained. Toth then headed over in the closing moments of the first half following a Ramos cross from the left.

Henty replaced Fejes at half time. Videoton wasted not time in coming back into the game and levelling after 52 minutes. A Suljic cross from the right picked out Lazovic, who left Kiraly stranded on his line with a smart header (1-1). Lazovic then fell to the floor 3 minutes later following a chance on goal but referee Szots waved play on.

A Stopira cross on the hour mark flew across goal and Lazovic connected to send the ball inches wide. Vidi then took the lead on 63 minutes: Scepovic passed the ball to the left and Stopira curled a ball into the middle, which found Patkai, who moved well to place the ball beyond Kiraly in the visiting goal (2-1).
