Trebotic: I am pleased that I am playing at a club that has serious aims

"I feel that if a club, whichever country it is playing in, ends up winning the league title and plays in the cup final, then that season can only be summed up as a success. This is the case even if the cup final did not go the way we had planned. I am still very proud despite this and we worked really hard. I am happy to be playing for Vidi. I joined a very good group last summer and it is a club with very serious aims each year. The players received all the help possible. This was the first league championship win in my career, so I will never forget this, but I am sure that I will celebrate another title win as a Vidi player. The very short summer break will see me go home to spend that time there. I will visit my family and friends and also relax. I am really looking forward to starting the new season and I am really curious about the team that we will get in the Champions league draw. I am sure that there are no easy opponents at this level" - commented Dinko Trebotic.
