After the 2-0 win for Vidi, Tamás Pető and Krisztián Tímár shared their thoughts on the match.
Tamás Pető:
"Our victory was well deserved, we were very organised throughout the game. From the first minute we controlled Nyíregyháza's unpleasant, fast attackers, we closed the areas in front of them very well. We created a lot of chances in the first half and played with superiority in the second half. I reminded my players at the break that we needed to concentrate more in front of goal if we wanted to win the game. We did that, although the goals came a bit late. We played a perfect game, both defensively and offensively. Thanks to our fans for cheering us on, it meant a lot to us, as did the fact that they stood by us when the game wasn't going our way."
Tímár Krisztián:
"Both teams are well prepared from the other. Fehérvár tried to close down the areas we often attack, forcing us to play a combinative game, which worked well until the last third of the game. It was a game that smelled like a draw, which was ultimately decided by which team made more defensive mistakes - unfortunately, those were us. We made mistakes that had happened before and we had corrected them, but now they happened again. We'll draw a lesson from the game and try to improve. We cannot improve until we win these matches. Congratulations to Fehérvár for the win!"
