Sousa: "The players did better than expected"

- IBefore the game, I was looking for my team to be disciplined in defence. This was my main expectation. I then saw someting completely different once the match had began, than I had counted on. We were agile, and there were several goalscoring chances at the start. I felt that we dictated the game for large periods. This is a fantastic performance taking into account the opponents, who are in the last 16 of the Champions league! We could have equalised after the Russians took the lead, but the assistant ref flagged for offside. I am still happy despite this, and I think that we deserved a better result than to lose" - said Paulo Sousa.
