The OTP league continues with a visit east to Kisvarda with Vidi under the new management of Imre Szabics.
The end of the international break sees Vidi back in OTP league action in the first week of April. Our team will visit Kisvarda on Sunday with an early 14:30pm kick off.
Our opponents are eighth in the table as the league continues while Vidi go into the game in third place. Manager Attila Supka saw his side produce a very good autumn season, which ended with a third place finish. However, the team suffered a loss of form in the first part of the spring season and that has included 6 defeats in 10 games. There have been a further 2 draws and 2 wins. They have picked up 36 points from their 26 league matches. Kisvarda have also made the semi-finals of the MOL Hungarian Cup, just as Vidi have.
We have met them twice during the 2020-2021 season. There was a 3-0 home win back in December, but it was Kisvarda who kept all the points in January as we went down 2-1.
