Relegation threatened DVSC visit us on Saturday

Debrecen are the visitors at the weekend as Vidi go in search of three vital points.

On Saturday at 17:15, DVSC visit the Sóstói Stadium. This will be the 90th match between the two teams in the top division, with 36 of the 89 meetings won and 35 wins for Debrecen, while there has been 18 draws. The goal difference is 120-114 in Loki's favour. In addition to Vidi as the home side, the two teams have played 45 first division games so far. Those have produced 9 away wins and 9 draws, as well as 27 Vidi victories, so the home side has a huge advantage.

Loki started the season under head coach Srdjan Blagojevic. In the first round, they were to host FTC at their Nagyerdő home, but that match was postponed to a later date, and in the second round they visited the home of newcomers ETO, where they won confidently 3-0. However, they did not continue well, drawing away in Kecskemét (KTE - DVSC 1-1), but then losing 1-0 at home to DVTK and then losing 3-0 at Újpest. After that, they parted ways with Blagojevic and appointed Tibor Dombi as interim coach, under whose guidance they won 3-1 at home to ZTE. However, this was the last points for the red and whites, who lost all four of their league games under new head coach Csaba Máté (Nyíregyháza - DVSC 3-2, DVSC - MTK 2-3, PAFC - DVSC 1-0, DVSC - Paks 0-5).
