Paks have not beaten Videoton in four years

The two sides first met on August 27th 2006, after Paks were promoted to the top division. The score on that day was 0-0 at the break, before goals from Csaba Csizmadia and Illes Sitku did the damage and gave Vidi a 2-0 away win. That gave Videoton their first win that season after 4 matches. The first game at the Sostoi stadium also took place in 2006/2007. It was Paks who took the lead, through a Tamas Kiss 11th minute effort. Attila Kuttor levelled with 9 minutes to go, to rescue a point. Vidi ended the season in 6th place, while Paks finished their first campaign in the first division in 11th place.
