After the 1-0 win for Diósgyőr, Tamás Pető and Vladimir Radenkovic shared their thoughts on the match.
Tamás Pető:
"We didn't start the game well, we went behind early, DVTK took the lead from a stupid free kick. In the first 20 minutes we couldn't find the rhythm of the game, but then we started to wake up and had chances, but we didn't have any real chances in this part of the game. I made two substitutions at the break, and thanks to that our attacking play picked up in the second half, and we created several good chances to equalise in front of the home goal. In the end, Gradisar's one-on-one chance was missed, but my players did their best to bring this match to a draw at least, and for that everyone deserves praise. DVTK's win is not undeserved, but I think a draw would have been a more realistic result based on what we saw, but that's football. I'm extremely pleased with my players, who went forward until the last minute and tried to get the goal they needed to score."
Vladimir Radenkovic:
"Today's game was not just about us, but the energy our fans gave us made a big difference. We went out there playing for them, they helped us through the toughest moments, they were our 12th player. In the second half, Stefanelli caused us a lot of problems in the first fifteen minutes after he came on, we had to adapt to the new situations that came into play. Once we sorted that out, we were able to take control of the game again and had the chances to score the second goal. All in all, I think 1-0 was a realistic result, but our opponents were also close to equalising. Overall, I feel we deserved our win."
