No points from our away game in Győr

In the last league round before the October national team break, our team played at the home of ETO FC Győr. 4138 spectators, including around 600 Vidi fans and a great atmosphere greeted the teams. Head coach Tamás Pető fielded a starting eleven of Dala - Simut, Serafimov, Spandler, Bedi - Csongvai - Holender, Pető, Szabó, Stefanelli - Gradisar, with Nagy, Milicevic, Kalmár, Kovács M., Kovács B., Kovács P., Huszti, Tóth, Babos and Katona on the bench.

The home side started the game better, in the 3rd minute Gavric shot from 14 meters after a feint and dribble towards goal, Dala showed great bravery and the rebound went wide. In the 9th minute ETO took the lead, after a corner from the right and a flick on, Stefulj, who was unmarked on the near post, headed into the net from close range (1-0). In the 14th minute, Gavric stepped out of the box and fired into the net from a set-piece with the help of the goalpost. The assistant initially gave the signal for an offside, but after a video review the goal was finally awarded (2-0). Ouro's good chance was again well saved from our young goalkeeper, and in the 20th minute Gradisar's 14-metre shot went just over.

A minute later, Stefanelli was fouled for a cross in front of the Győr goal, for which referee Csaba Pintér awarded a penalty after a VAR review. Bálint Szabó stood behind the ball and confidently scored the penalty (2-1). After half an hour, Stefanelli's shot was cleared by the home goalkeeper and in the 40th minute Vera's shot bounced over the crossbar to give the home side a 2-1 lead at the break.

At half-time Holender was replaced by Milicevic, and our first chance came in the 54th minute when Stefanelli's left-wing cross was headed over by Gradisar. At the other end Bitri's header went wide, and after 60 minutes of play Kalmar and Katona came on.

In the 64th minute, Ouro missed a shot, while the head coaches made changes on both sides, we had two young strikers, Patrik Kovács and Tamás Tóth Vid. The home team confidently held on to their one-goal lead in the closing stages of the match, the youngsters from Fehérvár fought hard, but in the 93rd minute ETO finally decided the fate of the 3 points, when substitute Boldor found the net from close range.
