Mátyás Kovács is a red and blue!

Following an agreement between Fehérvár FC and MTK Budapest, Mátyás Kovács, a youth international player who can also play as a winger and striker, will join the club on a one-year loan deal.

Mátyás Kovács was born on the 7th July 2003 in Budapest. He started playing football in 2011 at Gödöllő SK, before joining Vasas Kubala Academy in September 2014..

He played for the Blue and Whites of the Budapest club through the youth age-group teams, and made his debut in the NB I in the 2021/2022 season. In the 2022/2023 season, he was a regular for MTK, who finished 2nd in NB II and won promotion. He provided 2 assists in 33 NB I matches for MTK, while in 32 NB II matches he scored 7 goals and gave 6 assists.

He is a multiple youth national team player and a key member of the Hungarian U21 national team.
