The Vidi manager faced the media on Wednesday ahead of his teams second leg game with FK Zeta.
"We picked up a good result in the first leg and that obviously makes us favourites for the second leg. However, in football the work is never over until the final whistle goes. Our opponents will be playing for pride and will be more motivated than the first leg match. They have some talented young players but we would like to go through by winning both games. I saw some good football from my team in the friendly with DAC and the away leg in Podgorica. However, there are naturally things that can we worked on and improved. We are working in training to make sure we perform better. We are all upset that we cannot be playing at the Sosto as we were waiting to play European matches on our home pitch. However, things beyond the control of the club means we have to wait. This will be my 24th game as manager in a European match for Vidi. None of these have been played in Szekesfehervar. This does not make me pleased but we now have to solve the task in hand against Zeta at Felcsut"
The manager was also asked about the role of Ivan Petryak at the press conference.
"Ivan Petryak is without doubt a very good footballer and he has bonded in quickly within the squad. As to whether he starts the match will be known closer to the kick off. I do not want to focus on the Q2 round but the first leg ended 0-0. We will find out which club will be next if we go through. It does not matter if it is Vaduz or Breidablik. However, we need to keep one eye on the future, which is why one of my assistants have travelled out to watch that second leg match."
