The two managers shared their thoughts after the final whistle on Sunday.
Marko Nikolic:
"I want to congratulate the team on the win. We were on the floor a couple of days ago, but just like in life, you cannot remain on the floor in sport. You have to climb back up. Last year and the year before saw us go the furtherst in Europe, but this year things were different unfortunately. This means that we have to concentrate on the battle back home in the league. We played with a good mentality against Kaposvar, and the way we played means I was satisfied. It was important to start the season with a win. We had several chances that we did not convert on top of the goals we scored. We need to develop further as there will be games where one goal will decide the result. I was not pleased with the way we conceded two goals with our opponents twice scoring when they were inside our box. We cannot afford to let goals like this in against anyone. I want to thank the supporters for their backing and for being behind the team this evening."
Disztl László:
"I congratulate Vidi on the win as they managed to win the first league game after a difficult week. At the same time I want to congratulate who stood their ground and battled with the home side. NB I is different than the NB II, which we experienced tonight. However, I felt that the game was balanced in the majority of the match. Had we defended more aggressively, we would have avoided conceding the goals. We also scored two goals in the game, which shows the strength of the team. Vidi are a quick side and they showed that they are dangerous on the counter attack. We must not give away so many balls and have to improve in this area. We will need 2-3 games to pick up the tempo of the division, but I will repeat myself that we played well and I congratulate the team despite the defeat."
