Both managers shared their thoughts on Tuesday's pre-season friendly game in Austria.
Marko Nikolic:
We played a good match against a side that finished third in a quality Austrian first division. That puts them automatically in the Europa League Group Stage. We have worked very hard and it must have been around 40c out there on the pitch. All of the players received 90 minutes so nobody had an easy time. The attitude was very good and they all tried to carry out what we asked from them before the game. However, as I have already said a couple of days ago, we have things that need to be worked on. The team were sharper towards the end of the game and we managed to win the match. I am satisfied overall with what I saw.
Gerhard Struber:
I have good feeling about today's game as we managed to create several chances. We had a young and promising team that are technically capable, but you could see in some of the game today that there is a lack of experience. This is why we choose to play against opponents like today. We played Vidi to try and gain experience. The Europa League Group Stage will be a massive challenge for the team and me as a manager. This will be a massive chance for all of us and nationally we are all delighted at the club. We want to prepare as best we can and the players are hungry for success.
