José Gomes: We battled to win, but in the end we could only draw

José Gomes: We started the match really well, finding good solutions in their attacks, while continuously putting Papa under pressure. However, the visitors scored from their first move into our half. We continued to attack and there were chances, before we switched to two up front and levelled the score at the start of the second half. The visitors went ahead again following a corner. We did not give up, and created many chances and equalized again. We fought for the win, but in the end it ended in a draw. I also have to mention that since the winter break, with the exception of the Pecs and MTK games, the match referee made mistakes. The decision makers need to show more respect towards the club! Videoton is a club that has and also will represent Hungary on the international stage. This is why it is important from the Hungarian point of view. We expect to get the respect, which is also shown to other clubs.

Tóth Bálint: We picked up a very valuable today. We produced an excellent first half performance. Vidi did not count on these tactics, and the home side did not know what to do as a result. It was not by accident that they made a change before the end of the first half. We battled well, and if we would be in a better physical shape, then I am sure that we would not have had the problems that we had in the second half. We had injuries and illnesses which did not allow us to train at the level we would have liked to, or that we should have. We became tired around the 70th minute. The players really did battle tremendously, and I congratulate them for this. I am satisfied with the draw, as we get further away from the relegation zone. I have to also mention Goran Maric whose performance was a good example, together with his attitude, despite the fact that he is not in a top physical condition. He was a strength for the team today.
