José Gomes looks back on the work put in over the last few weeks

"The work that we planned over the two training camps was carried out fully. We wanted to see the possible errors, and the way they were fixed, which happened. We managed to avoid any injuries, which was also a very important thing. We carried out different kind of work during the second training camp, as I have previously mentioned. The team are in a very good condition at the moment, and it is vital that the enthusiasm and mentality, which the players have shown and worked with over the last few weeks, can be carried on until the end of the season. I am completely satisfied with the work of the players and I feel that we have prepared for the tasks ahead of us. I am very pleased to have seen the youngsters, who will at times play for the first team, and at other times for the second team, and who are part of the team, and our family. They showed that they can be counted on at any time if the situation arises. I would like as many supporters as possible to come out and back us over the spring. The team are working for the Vidi supporters. I can understand if at times they will be disappointed due to mistakes, but I would ask them to help the team over the spring season, as we can achieve big things together" - commented Vidi manager José Gomes to vidi.hu.
