The two managers shared their thoughts following the 3-1 win away at DVTK on Saturday.
Joan Carrillo:
This was a very difficult game but we were counting on this. My colleague has worked well in Diosgyor. A change of manager is always a complicating process but my team reacted well as they had done during the week and as I had expected. Naturally I would like us to play better and to direct things more in games. However, the most important today was to win and we did. I wanted my team to finish off the game when the score was at 2-1. We had to wait until the end for the third goal. It is true that the home side had chances to level. I congratulate the boys who all fought from the first minute until the last. I thought the team were a little bit tired after a hard weeks work in training. They really did do their best out there on the pitch."
Balint Pacsi, coach (who stood in for the suspended Tamas Feczkó):
We left the pitch with our heads held high and did all we could to win. However, football is about goal. We went out there for the second half wanting to win the game. Fate had it that Prosser hit the post and it did not go in. We made a mistake for the first goal with our communication. Perhaps we were not aware of the variation that Joan Carrillo brought. We should have gone in at half time with the score level, but Kovacs did really well to score and we could not hold on to things. Although we had the ball for most of the second half in the opponents half, we could not score and Vidi showed quality to decide the match. I am very proud of the team and also our supporters. Perhaps you can lose like this.
