The OTP league continues with a midweek visit to Debrecen.
The only midweek away league match of the 2019-20 season takes place on the 5th February when MOL Fehervar FC visit the home of DVSC. The match will kick off at 18:00pm in what is a busy February.
Wednesday's opponents have not been too busy over the winter. They have made a good start to 2020 with a 4-0 home win over Ujpest followed up by a point away in the 0-0 draw in Felcsut against the Puskas Academy. That last result coupled with the fact that DVTK won at the weekend meant that they fell back to 8th place in the league table. However, they are just four points short of fourth in the table PAFC.
There was a change of manager over the winter break with Zoltan Vitelki coming in to replace Andras Herczeg. Serbian Luka Milunovic arrived from Malaysia as well as Yuriy Habovda coming in from Haladas. Youngster Peter Barath will turn 18 on the 21st February and he was promoted from the youth team. The latter two have yet to make their debuts. There were five players that left Debrecen including Krisztian Kuti, who last played in February in the NB I. Their biggest strengthening was the recovery of Adam Bodi, who had missed a lengthy period since being injured on the 30th November. His return has coincided with one defeat in five. That was against bottom of the table Kaposvar.
First team keeper Sandor Nagy has been missing since November with a thigh injury. Daniel Tozser picked up an ankle injury in one of the friendly games and was operated on during January. Haruna Garba has played 1372 minutes and has scored 8 goals on top of the 3 assists. Balazs Benyei will serve a suspension and will miss Wednesday's game.
