Paulo Sousa addressed the media following the 4-1 home win over Pecs on Saturday
Paulo Sousa: "We showed the right kind of patience at the start of the match, which allowed us to play our own rhythm of football. This allowed us to wait for the right moment, and we ended up scoring four goals today. Our intensity fell back a little after our first goal, as Pecs managed to level. We then went on to attack the opponents aggressively. We saw the result of this as we took the lead in the first half, which we went on to keep. We could have gone on to have won by an even larger margin had we taken more of our chances. The key thing is that there will always be moments during a match, when you have to convert the chances created, if you do not, then it only makes things harder for us. We did not manage to do this in the previous two games. We will continue to work to achieve similar results to what we did today."
Mészáros Ferenc: "I would like to congratulate Videoton. There was a quick exchange of goals in the first half, where we came out of it worse. Perhaps things would have been different had we gone in at the break at 1-1. We tried to keep hold of the ball in the second half, but Videoton were able to bring on quality players, which eventually decided the match."
