Akos Elek has contributed his international shirt towards the good cause
The club decided back in the summer to come up with a way of helping the victims of the recent floods and storms, which heaped havoc and destruction in the east of the country. Vidi midfielder Akos Elek was born in Banreve, which was badly affected. His parents home received damage to the roof, when large pieces of ice fell on it. It was then that the team decided to come up with a way of helping out. Videoton will travel to play Kazincbarcika in a friendly match on the 24th October, with kick off at 14:30pm. Proceeds from the game will be handed over to the local Banreve council. There will also be an auction held, with details to shortly appear online. One of the items on offer to the highest bidder, will be the international shirt that Akos Elek wore in the recent Hungary match. There will also be a ball signed by the entire team, which will all go under the hammer.
