Vidi make the visit to second division Budafok in the Hungarian Cup

Budafok are battling at the bottom of the second division but they host MOL Vidi on Wednesday afternoon. 

Vidi are in Hungarian Cup action on Wednesday afternoon. The game against 17th in the NB II Budafok MTE will kick off at 15:00pm.

Budafok were promoted to the second division at the end of season 2016-17. They then found themselves in 19th place after 31 games, but managed to win 5 out of the last 7 games to end in 14th place. They have been performing quite similarly this season. They are in 19th place now having won the last two games. Those included a win away at Balmazujvaros and a home victory over Monor. They have also progressed in two rounds of the Hungarian Cup. Those were a 3-0 win over Bonyhad and a 3-1 success against Szekszard. 

Current top goal scorer in the NB II for Budafok is 27 year old David Kovacs with 4 goals and 5 assists. He has been with them since 2008! He is followed by Peter Poloskey with 3 goals. Former NB I player Balint Olah has played the most minutes this season with 1609 spent on the pitch. The already mentioned Kovacs has 1474 minutes under his belt. Their squad is valued by transfermarkt.de at 1.7 million euros, which is the 13th highest in the second division. Olah and Goher are both valued at 150,000€ as is Filkor.
