Our club will donate HUF 500 for every ticket sold for the home league match on 13th March to the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service to help refugees in Transcarpathia.
Our club is committed to helping those seeking refuge in Hungary, so with the help of our partner, the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service, we will donate HUF 500 from the ticket sales of the home league match against FTC to help refugees in Transcarpathia.
Our captain, Nemanja Nikolic, has also indicated that the players of the first team will organize a collection in the dressing room, and just like at Christmas, they will try to help the needy, and the donations will be sent to the Maltese Charity Service, and we have also prepared a charity auction, the details of which you can read here.
The match against Ferencváros will kick off on the 13th March at 17:00. If our supporters would like to help directly, they can do so as follows.
The Hungarian Maltese Relief Service is involved in the care of people fleeing to Transcarpathian regions, providing support to families arriving in the settlements through the Maltese Relief Service in the Berehovo district. At the same time, the care institutions and charitable groups of the Serbian Relief Service in Eastern Hungary are preparing to receive and support refugee families arriving in Hungary as needed.
In line with its policy in previous humanitarian emergencies, the Maltese Relief Service pays particular attention to supporting children, the elderly, the sick and people with disabilities, as general measures to support displaced people do not usually address the needs of more vulnerable groups. The Maltese organisation is also specifically targeting refugees with special needs.
The Maltese Relief Service is launching a fundraising campaign to support its humanitarian actions in view of the crisis situation in Ukraine. Those who would like to help can do so by making an online transfer to the charity's account number, by visiting adomanyozz.hu or by calling the 1350 donation line and donating 250 HUF per call. Our fans have also started their own collection, donations can be made at the MindigVár Non-Stop shop (Prohászka Ottokár u. 67) and at the Videoton Box Club (Bátky Zsigmond u 5.).
