Videoton will meet Mezokovesd for the third time on Saturday

The two matches so far have produced a Vidi win and a draw.

Videoton are in OTP league action on Saturday at the Pancho Arena. Newly promoted Mezokovesd are the visitors for the game, which will kick off at 18:00pm. The two sides first met in the top division back on the 8th November 2013. Substitute Laszlo Kleinheisler came on to score an 85th minute winner in a 1-0 win.

That season's return fixture was played on the 18th May 2014. Melczer had put the home side ahead in the first half, but they could not hold on to the 3 points. Haraszti scored a last minute equaliser to rescue a point.

Mezokovesd ended up being relegated together with Kaposvar at the end of that season. They needed 2 season's in the second division before returning to NB1 in the summer. Attila Pinter's side finished second in the league, with just two points splitting them from third in the table ZTE.

The first division newcomers did not start the 2016/17 season badly. They drew 2-2 with Gyirmot in the season opener, before another draw away at Haladas. MTK were also beaten 1-0 in Dunaujvaros to give the yellow and blues their first win. However, they did lose 1-0 to Debrecen at the weekend.

Saturday's opponents will have Tomas Tujvel in goal, who was part of the 2011 title winning side. There are several other players with plenty of first division experience in their squad. Tarmo Kink, Mihai Nicorec, Marek Strestik, Andras Vagi, Gergo Goher, Szilard Devecseri and Tamas Egerszegi all linked up with Mezokovesd during the summer.
