The two managers spoke just after the final whistle of the 3-0 Vidi win
Gyorgy Mezey: "We picked up a valuable win tonight, as we came up against a well organised Vasas side. I am pleased that our forwards finally scored, and not only did we score three today, but they were good goals as well. I am also delighted that those players who were called up for the Hungarian squad and Olympic side, played well today. I would highlight the performances of both Liptak and Elek. It was also a great feeling to hear the backing of the fans, who supported us throughout, and created a good atmosphere at the Sostoi stadium tonight."
Gianni Dellacasa: "I want to congratulate Videoton, who deserved their three points. We did not play badly in the first half, and could have taken the lead in the first few minutes. However, we did not manage to score from that good chance. We had other chances, but the truth is that Videoton dominated today's game. I am still pleased with my players, despite that, and they battled throughout. The two goals that we conceded at the start of the second half, settled the fate of the game. We knew that we would have a difficult match, as Videoton are a strong side, with great qualities. I am sure that they will be up there competing for the title at the end. It wasn't a catastrophe and we will carry on working."
