Bartosz Grzelak and Nebojsa Vignjevic shared their thoughts after the final whistle.
Bartosz Grzelak:
There are two approaches to today's game, one positive and one negative, but I'm more disappointed because before the start I thought we would keep the three points at home. Újpest's fighting spirit was similar to ours and the attitude of both teams put their stamp on the match. Neither team had a very big scoring chance and the draw was probably fair. It would have been better to have won, but a point can be worth a lot in the final part of the season. Our attacking play didn't work so well today, we lost the ball easily, for example on crosses. We will definitely have to work on that in the future. Besides that, I didn't feel our play inside the penalty area was dangerous. To add to the positives I have already mentioned: our defence was solid today and the team spirit is good, which we need to keep up in the future.
Nebojsa Vignjevic:
I would like to congratulate both teams, because despite the goalless draw, it was an exciting match. We respected Vidi, but we came here to win the game because we need the wins. We went into today's match with the aim of getting the three points. We came closer than the home team, we created more good situations, I'm sorry we couldn't win today. But I must congratulate my players on their performance today. However, against Fehérvár away, I consider one point an acceptable result. I think today's draw was a better quality game from our side than last week's win against ZTE, but we didn't manage to score this time. I felt it was an interesting encounter today, there was a rhythm to the game, there were some tough duels and goal scoring opportunities. From the bench, it seemed that at any moment something could happen that would change the outcome of the game.
