PRESS CONFERENCE

The reaction of the two managers

Bartosz Grzelak and Tamás Feczkó faced the media after the game.

Bartosz Grzelak:

"It was a deserved victory for Kisvárda, I congratulate our opponent. It was their last chance to 'survive' and unfortunately they played with more energy than us. Now I can't say what the reason was, but I'm very disappointed that we didn't perform better. Balázs Tóth also had some brilliant saves today, if he hadn't been in goal, it could have been an even worse result for us. At 0-0 we had a few chances on goal where we were not sharp enough, but after 1-0 we had no chances. There are games when you get the feeling that you played well but couldn't score - that wasn't the case today."

Feczkó Tamás:

"We quickly overcame the initial difficulties of the match. We were very organised throughout the game, Vidi only had chances from big throw-ins and our goalkeeper only had to save once. It was important that we made good clearances and that the players put in the effort. We deserved to win the match. We should have won the game in the first half, it was annoying that the ball bounced out of the goalposts both times, but it was a testament to our mental strength that we started the second half well. We had some nice, well-developed attacks and when Vidi took a risk we could have closed the game. I'm happy that we could bring so much joy to our fans."
