The managers reaction to the 1-1 draw

Attila Pinter was disappointed with the draw, while Gyorgy Mezey was also not satisfied with the draw

"This was an interesting match. We got what we have become used to from Győr, which is a well organised side, who often defended with 8 men. THis type of "wall" requires patience and can be broken through very precise football, with fresh players. This was not the case for us today, as we have played three games in the space of six days. When Győr were reduced to ten men, we did not manage to stretch them, and this is what I had sent my team onto the pitch to do. We also failed to have long range shots on their goal. I was satisfied with my players, as they really gave their all. The sending off and the strange events at the end, ruined the match in the end, and we have to be pleased with the point that we managed to get. It has been a long time since I was involved in a match where things went wild, and screaming, objects being thrown on to the pitch, and one cup actually hit our club photographer. I do not wish to give my view on referee Bede."

Pintér : "We knew that a very well organised side would arrive today. It was a good match with them, with the sending off putting us at a disadvantage, but the players fought for each other and showed their strength, and we never gave up. We even managed to take the lead. If we would have dared to play a little bit more, maybe Videoton would not have been able to come back. We were two minutes away from winning the match. We did not succeed in doing  this and I do not want to comment on the referee."
