The 2011/2012 season in numbers

We take a look back at the stats and numbers from the season just ended

7 - Vidi win 7 games in a row from the 24th league fixture to the 30th, with three of those wins coming away from home and the other four at the Sostoi stadium.

19/1 - The 29th April saw Vidi break a long hoodoo, with the red and blues last beating Ferencvaros back on the 27th November 1993. Goals from Nikolics and Mitrovics gave Paulo Sousa's side a home 2-0 win over the Budapest club.

19/2 - Nemanja Nikolics scored a total of 19 goals during the season, which was one more than in the 2009/2010 season. That resulted in him being the top goalscorer. His 19 goals this season helped him to second place in the goalscorers table.

21 - Vidi win 21 times thanks to a great spring season with the team winning 11 of the 13 games in 2012.

Season 2011-2012-highest league victory came at the Sostoi stadium on the 19th November 2011 against Siofok. The seven goals came thanks to a hatrick from Alves, Nikolics with two and further goals from Sandor and Oliveira.

66 - Vidi collected 66 points for the first time in it's history in the first division. Last season's championship winning side picked up 61 points in total to finish up in top spot. That included 18 wins, 7 draws and 5 defeats during the process. However, even that statistic was not as good as the third place finish in 2005/2006. That saw them win 64 points, including 19 wins, 7 draws and just 4 defeats in a season that ended with a third place finish.

3000 - Close to 3000 school children attended games at the Sostoi stadium during the season as part of the club's school program.

5092 - The average home attendance over the course of the league season at the Sostoi

18.000 - A total of 18,000 members now belong to the Videoton FC Hungarian Facebook side.

408.454 - The total amount of individual visits to the clubs official website between June 1st 2012 and May 31st 2012. .
