Tamas Bognar will referee the league cup final

Vidi travel to Kecskemet on Wednesday in the hope of lifting the league cup

Videoton have an important match ahead of them on Wednesday, with the Fehervar club hoping to lift the League cup trophy, but they will have to beat Kecskemet first!

Tamas Bognar collected his refereeing badge back in 1995, and went on to officiate in the local Vas county leagues. He quickly picked up experience in the many games he took control of. He then moved up to referee division two matches in 2002, before soon making the next grade up to the top level. His first game in the first division came on the 8th April 2006, in a match between Kaposvar and Papa, which the home side won 1-0.

Tamas Bognar also took charge of two matches at the Sostoi stadium in season 2008-09, with the first being a 0-2 defeat against MTK. The other match also ended in defeat, this time against Honved by the same 0-2 scoreline. Bognar has also featured this season, and his first game in the middle was in the 4-1 home league win over Pecs. Interestingly, he also refereed the return league match, which saw Vidi win 3-1 away in Pecs.
