Attention switches to Papa in the League cup

Lombard Papa are Wednesday's opponents at the Sostoi stadium in the league cup, semi-final 2nd leg. They go in to the match currently occupying 14th place in the OTP league, which is just one off the relegation positions. Lombard Papa found it hard to cope with Milan Perics in the first leg, as Vidi's winter signing found the back of the net twice in that match. Perics could have had a hatrick in the final minute, but unselfishly laid on a simple third goal for fellow striker Torghelle, to give Vidi a comfortbale 3-0 lead. Papa have made a mixed start to the spring season, with just one win, 2 draws and two losses in the five games to date.
