Sixth-placed Paks FC visit Székesfehérvár on Saturday

As in previous years, there is a player from Paks at the top of the scoring list.

On Saturday at 16:30 Paksi FC will be the guests of Vidi at the MOL Arena Sósto. In the first round of the 2022/2023 season, Vidi suffered a 2-0 defeat in Paks, and the home team's first goal was scored by Barnabás Varga, who has since scored six more goals in the NB I, leading the scoring charts with seven goals, tied with Zalaegerszeg's Ikoba. Last season, Martin Ádám - who has since done well in South Korea - scored 31 goals in the NB I, while in the 2020/2021 season, János Hahn became the top scorer in the Hungarian top flight with 22 goals.

Paks played two draws (Vasas - Paks 2-2, Bp. Honvéd - Paks 3-3) after their two-goal success against us, while their 4th round match against FTC was postponed until next February due to Ferencváros' international cup match, so our Saturday guest has played one less match so far this season.

Róbert Waltner's side suffered their first defeat on home soil, as Kisvárda beat Paks 3-1. In the next round, the surprise team of the season, Kecskemét TE, also won 3-1 against Paks. Interestingly, only Vidi have beaten the newcomers Kecskemét so far this season.

After two 3-1 defeats, Paks FC temporarily got back on the winning track, winning 1-0 at home against DVSC and beating Mezőkövesd 2-1 away. The two victories were followed by two more defeats: in Paks, PAFC won 3-1, and in the last round, ZTE beat Paks 3-0 at home.

Saturday's opponent has conceded the second most goals in the OTP Bank League so far, with the opponents scoring 20 times

In the MOL Hungarian Cup, Paks are unbeaten so far, beating NB II leaders PMFC 1-0 in round 3, while on the last matchday they won 3-0 at home to NB III Balatonfüred. In the next round, they will play at home to Monor.
