Peter Solymosi will referee Wednesday's Hungarian Cup match

MOL Vidi FC travel to the Groupama Arena on Wednesday for the first leg of the quarterfinal tie.

Peter Solymosi is 46 years old and he took his refereeing badge back in 1995. He quickly moved through the county leagues and his first game in the NB III followed. He soon continued to move up and eventually took control of NB I games. His first came in 2002 and a match between MTK and Sopron. He was voted best match official for season 2014-15. 

He was most recently in charge of MOL Vidi's away game at Mezokovesd in the autumn, which ended in a 1-0 defeat. Solymosi will referee Wednesday's Hungarian Cup quarter-final, first leg game away at Ferencvaros. He will be assisted by Istvan Szecsenyi and Balazs Szalai. Goal line assistants will be Ferenc Karako and Gergely Szots. The fourth match official will be Oszkar Lemon for the match that kick off's at 18:00pm.
