Hungarian cup quarter-finals (first leg)

Although paper form suggests that Vidi will be the favourites, a serious match awaits on Wednesday evening. It is enough to just look at their first game of the spring season at the weekend, when they won 2-0 at the home of Ujpest. PMFC knocked out last seasons champions Debrecen. This round will be decided over two legs, with the second leg taking place on the 1st April.

Saturday's opponents have already played two league games in the last couple of weeks. They recently replayed the earlier postponed fixture against Paks. That game ended in a 1-1 draw while they defeated Honved at the weekend by a 2-0 scoreline. That has given them 4 points to give them breathing space between the sides at the bottom of the table.
