The two managers shared their thoughts at the post match press conference.
Marko Nikolic:
"I would like to start by again saying that it feels totally different to play a real home match. I am pleased that we can be here. I would like to congratulate my players who have now won 3 big games in this difficult series. We have also not conceded a goal in those games. We still have big derby matches with Ujpest and Ferencvaros to come as well as the EL match with Chelsea and a Hungarian cup tie at Budafok to concentrate on. We played intelligently today and it was a tactically good game. The team were also very disciplined. There was a little lack of energy but it is understandable after we travelled back during the night from Belarus. This is why we had to use our heads and play with intelligence. I hope that Roland Juhasz has no serious problem and can return quickly. We had Vinicius out suspended so we had Attila Fiola and Stopira playing in the middle and they both did well."
Attila Supka :
"We started the game how we had discussed and closed down the space and squeezed them well. We tried to build once we gained possession. However, the home side scored from their first chance and we opened up more following that. We did not manage to cause any danger in the first half. We could have got back into the game in the second period but Scepovic doubled the lead for our opponents. It has not been typical of us to make mistakes as we did with the two goals today. We need to improve on this. We need to be more effective with our attacking play as we cannot win without scoring goals. Vidi confirmed that they are a good side and they took advantage of our mistakes and deserved to win."
