The two managers shared their thoughts shortly after the final whistle.
Marko Nikolic:
"This was my 120th game in charge of Vidi and this was one of the worst, if not the worst. The game started really badly for us and there was so much that I did not like. There were mistakes leading up to the first goal and then we lost our focus after that. We cannot allow this to happen but it can happen that sometimes you fall behind at the start. However, there is still so much remaining of the game.... There were so many counter attacks with at least 10 clear chances that were given to Puskas. This shows that tactically and also our attitude was lacking. There are still three league games and a cup match to go this year. We will prepare game by game and we have to win all four."
Hornyák Zsolt:
"I want to thank my team for the performance today. It was really important to go ahead very early on and we managed to do this. This meant that Vidi had to open up and they did and we then went and scored the second. We controlled the midfield throughout the 90 minutes and this brought its reward. The second half panned out that our opponents found it hard to play with a two goal deficit. This gave us the added strength. Henty had a very good chance while Knezevic missed a penalty. Vanecek also had chances and then Gyurcso scored the decisive goal. It was a little bit disappointing that we let a goal in at the end from a set piece."
