Marko Nikolic: I am disappointed with the defeat

The two managers shared their thoughts shortly after the final whistle.

Marko Nikolic:

"I would like to congratulate the home side for the win. I cannot say anything especially interesting. I am naturally disappointed with the defeat, and we cannot allow ourselves to drop points like this. We controlled the game and took the lead. We also started the second half well and had chances and hit the post. Then we had the injury to Kovacsik, and that meant we had no further chances to make changes. There were signs of tension on the pitch and off it. We do not handle these things well when they come about. You have to concentrate in football, which brings the quality. I would again like to congratulate Puskas Academy on the win and also the Vidi supporters who came out to back us."

The manager was asked about the condition of Kovacsik and also about the events at the end of the match.

"I cannot say anything about Adam at the moment. His teeth took a know and his face was full of blood. I did not see what happened after the game as I was in the dressing room. It will be the job of the referee and match delegate to decide what happens."

Benczés Miklós:

"We are delighted to pick up our first win. It just makes the feeling stronger that we defeated last seasons champions. I want to congratulate the lads and it will remain a memorable game. Not only because we won the game after 102 minutes, but also because we made things hard for Vidi. We had chances to settle the game but it is also true that we were under lots of pressure in the final 10 minutes. We have had several games when things did not turn out our way but today was different. You need players such as Varga, Mioc for this to happen. The international break came at a good time for us. We managed to bond in the new players and try a different system."
