Vidi.hu spoke to new signing Jeff Silva after the defender returned with the team from their Spanish training camp
Jeff Silva: "I really the training camp in Spain. It is true that we had many hard training sessions, but I feel that I have joined a very good club. It is not only the conditions, but the work we have done has been first division. Looking at my own performance over the pre-season friendlies, I would say that I have only showed 60-70% of what I can do. One reason for this is that I need to get used to my current position, as in the past I helped out much more in attack. I used to help out as a defender when the team attacked. I am sure that by the time I return back from the training camp in Turkey, I will be in 100% condition wise."
I spoke a lot with my team mates in Spain about what the Hungarian first division is like. I know that the two clubs in the capital are the most popular in Hungary. I also know that we are 9 points behind Debrecen, and we have not given up hope of catching them over the spring season. We will be trying twice as hard and fighting to be at the top of the table by the end of the season. I am also very curious about how much the people of Szekesfehervar like football. I can hardly wait to make my debut in a key match at the Sostoi stadium. I hope that the home supporters will create a fantastic atmosphere in the stadium, and that they will also follow us when we play away. I have seen snow in the past when I played in Serbia, but I have never experienced weather this cold, as we have felt over the last few days in Hungary. I never thought that it could be this cold anywhere on earth. This is a totally new experience for me but I hope that the weather will rise above zero shortly" - concluded SIlva.
