Ivanovski: It was very hot and we were tired but this could not be seen in our performance

"It was incredibly hot when we started the match. The pitch was very hard and the watering it received before the match did not really help. We went out on to the pitch tired following the 10 day training camp. We worked very hard every day out here. I felt that we managed to give a good performance despite this. Naturally we did not play to the best we can, and there were some errors, but I feel that we are playing better with each game. I am very pleased that I scored a goal. Oliveira found me with a very good ball leading up to the goal. I also had a good chance to score on top of the one that I scored, but the keeper saved that chance. This is an important win as we will have a key game on Sunday in the Super Cup final against FTC. The win against the team from Ukraine has helped our confidence" - commented Mirko Ivanovski.
